Theoretical Analysis of Linearly Chirped Moiré Fiber Gratings
|
Abstract:
The coupling coefficient and the coupled-mode equations of linearly chirped moiré fiber grating(LCMG) are presented. The spectral and group delay characteristics of several LCMGs are simulated by using a fourth-order adaptive-step-size Runge-Kutta algorithm to numerically solve the coupled-mode equations. The analysis results show that LCMGs have a favorable prospect in wavelength-division multiplexing all-optical networks due to their phase shift and apodization properties.
