Research on the Photorefractive Effect in Branched Polymethylphenylsilane Slab Waveguide
|
Abstract:
Synthesis of the polymethylphenylsilane(PMPS) was improved by inputting 0.33% C6H5SiCl3.By this way,the molecular weight of output branched PMPS rose to 51 874.Using this kind of PMPS,the quality of the PMPS film can be improved. The experiment results including optical waveguide, film thickness control, heat treatment and thermal oxidization are reported.Optical bleaching of branched PMPS was studied by UV irradiation.UV irradiation quantity is in direct ratio with output polymethylphenylsiloxane qualitatively.Refractive index changes of the PMPS film was concluded. The quantity conditions of film thickness and refractive index control were acquired. The basic facture technics of branched PMPS waveguide circuit was established.
