Experimental Investigation of Phase Dependence of Non-stationary Shot Noise
|
Abstract:
In order to reduce the impact of shot noise induced by phase modulation, intensity modulation and Phase sensitivity demodulation is used to measure power spectrum of noise with different demodulation phase. The minimum intensity of power spectrum was decreased about 3 dB compare with the intensity with no modulation. It is shown that the influence of non-stationary shot noise can be restrained with a special demodulation phase. Experimental data is in good agreement with theoretical forecast.
