Study on Point Spread Function of Neutron Pinhole Imaging System Simulation
|
Abstract:
The point spread function (PSF) of neutron pinhole imaging was simulated and analyzed based on the Geant4 system and a model in theory was established. By the comparison between the distributed image of PSF and that of energy deposition data, it is known that both data agree with each other well. The results show that the better image resolution can be obtained through the corresponding PSF in a certain incident range. By the discussion on the PSFs of different incident energies in the same position, it is shown that increasing the incident energy can enhance the image contrast, but reduce the resolution.
