Abstract:

The static analysis on of the main mirror with backside support was carried out by the finite element method based on ANSYS. Three points and nine points supports were studied in order to obtain the displacement of the reflection surface. The PV/RMS value were calculated using Homogeneous Coordinate Transformation Theory and Least Square Method. Those values were made the target function to find out the optimal backside support position.
