Theoretical Research of Side-Pumped Yb3+ Doped Double-Clad Fiber Laser
侧面抽运掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器的理论研究

The numerical model of side-pumped Yb3 -doped double-clad fiber laser was presented.An approximate analytic function of distributed laser along the whole fiber was obtained.The distribution of pump power and laser power,and the dependence of output power on pump position,fiber length and mirror reflectivity were analyzed.The results show that pump position greatly affects the distribution of laser power and output power.
