ROMOVING METAL CONTAMINANTS FROM HEAVY OILS FOR PREVENTING HIGH-TEMPERATURE CORROSION
|
Abstract:
Removing metal contaminants in heavy oils can reduce high-temperature corrosivity of the oils during combustion process.Because some heavy metals in heavy oils such as Ni,V exist in porphyrin compounds or oil-soluble compounds,it is very difficult to get rid of them.In this paper, the demetallizing reagent is used by a medium-type test facility to react with the heavy metal, and the metal contaminants are removed by electric-desalting finally. The influence of reaction temperature, reaction time and electric-field strength on the removal rate has also been studied. This technology is one new method to solve the high-temperature corrosion problem, and can be applied for industrial mass production.
