APPLICATION OF VEGETABLE TANNIC ACID IN EPOXY ANTIRUST PAINT

It was discovered that corrosion resistance of the epoxy antirust paint could be improved and rust could be conversed by adding vegetable tannic acid in the paint. However, the action of the synthetic tannic acid was not apparent. The mechanism for action of vegetable tannic acid in the epoxy vegetable tannic acid polyamide antirust paint was studied by IR structure analyses of tannic acids.
