Characteristics and factors affecting corrosion of metal in organic solvents and the classification of corrosion in organic solvents were reviewed.Corrosion in organic solvents is quite different with that in water,and there exists anomalous corrosion behavior of metals in organic solvents.Anticorrosion countermeasures for metals in organic solvents were introduced.
