Research on the Weighted Yang-Gu Algorithm

Abstract:
The improved weighted Yang-Gu algorithm has been proposed based on the elementary principle of the Yang-Gu algorithm.The math-model of the weighted Yang-Gu algorithm was established,and the convergence of this algorithm was proved theoretically.At the same time,the suitable range of weighted coefficient was analyzed.Compared with the ordinary Yang-Gu algorithm,the weighted Yang-Gu algorithm can evidently decrease the sensitivity to initial phases,and avoid the iterative process getting into the local extremum,consequently optimize the simulating results of diffractive optical elements.Meanwhile,the computing example was given to explain the effectiveness of the weighted Yang-Gu algorithm.
