CORROSION-RESISTANCE OF ENAMEL COATING ON ALUMINUM COATED STEEL

Abstract:
The relationship between the oxide composition and the acid and alkali\|resistance of enamel coating on aluminum coated steel has been studied. The experimental results show that the TiO 2 crystal uniformly distributed over enamel coating can repress the corrosion of H + to the enamel coating in acid solution,the protective film is formed on the surface of enamel coating by ZrO 2 reacting with OH - when aluminum coated steel enamel coating is in alkali solution.
