CORROSION OF HEAT- EXCHANGE TUBE IN HIGH - PRESS WATER COOLER E5104

Abstract:
The corrosion of heat exchange tube in high press water cooler in hydrogen refining equipment in Liaoyang oil refinery has been nvestigated by using Optical Microscopy,Scannng Electron Microscopy and X-ray diffraction.The corrosion mainly results from solute oxygen in water,which causes nodules to be formed on the outside surface of the tube,and finally perforation occurs on the position of the nodules.
