ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIOR OF Fe AND Mo IN LiCl-KC1 MOLTEN SALT
|
Abstract:
The role of S 2- in the electrode process on Pt and the behavior of Fe and Mo in Li 2S(sat) LiCl KCl and LiCl KCl molten salts were studied by electrochemical methods. The difference between oxidation potentials of Fe and Mo electrodes is about 0.6V.The limiting potential of FeS 2 cathode in charging was determined and Mo can been used as current collector in FeS 2 cathode when the charging potential is controlled in the passive range of Mo.
