EFFECTS OF SRB ON CORROSION OF Q235 STEEL IN Cl- CONTAINING SOILS
|
Abstract:
The effects of Sulfate Reducing Bacterial (SRB) on corrosion of Q235 steel in soils containing Cl - have been studied.Bacterial analyses, weight loss,Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy,Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and EDXA were used. The results shown that corrosion rate and pitting rate of Q235 steel in soils with different Cl - content and SRB are larger than those without SRB.Corrosion rate and pitting rate of Q235 steel increases with the increasing Cl - content of soils and which reaches a peak when the Cl - content of soils is about 0.5%,then decreass with funther increasing Cl - content in soils.
