SCC ON AN AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL WELDED STRUCTURE DUE TO POOR WELDING QUALITY
不当焊接引起的奥氏体不锈钢结构应力腐蚀破裂事例

316L stainless steel is a kind of material with good corrosion resistance, but its properties of anti SCC are considerably affected by assembling quality, especially by welding quality. The failure on the heat affected zone (HAZ) in a 316L stainless steel welding structure is analysed in the present paper. The results show that the failure is caused by SCC, and the bad welding quality is the basic reason. The way to improve the welding quality and prevent SCC is presented.
