RELATIVITY BETWEEN LOCOLIZED CORROSION OF STEELS AND MARINE ENVIROMENT
|
Abstract:
On the basis of corrosion data of steels exposed in sea areas of Qingdao, Xianmen and Yulin for 1,2,4 and 8 years, the relativity between localized corrosion of steels and marine enviroment are discussed. The higher the seawater temperature and the more the marine organism, the more serious the localized corrosion of common steels, but the localized corrosion of chromium steels is not sensitive to marine enviromont. The corrosion reverse phenomenon of chromium steels is directly related to seawater salinity, i.e. in the joint region of river and marine, it did not occur.
