ATMOSHPERIC CORROSION OF STEELS IN POLLUTED ENVIRONMENT
|
Abstract:
The behavior of atmosphere corrosion of steels in polluted environments was studied through atmospheric exposure test and corrosion products were analyzed by XRD. For comparison, an accelerated weathering test of immersion-dry-wet combined cycles was also used to simulate the field corrosion. The results showed that the corrosion process of steels could be described by a formulary of AW=ktn. The corrosion-resistance of the steels increased according to the order A3,XGO,OSCuPTiRe, 10CrNiCuP. It is feasible that the at- mospheric corrosion behavior of steels could be studied, through the accelerated weathering test of immersion-dry-wet combined cycles, simulating the environment of shenyang polluted atmosphere.
