CHARACTERISTIC OF POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE AND ITS APPLICATION IN PROCESS INDUSTRY

This paper introduced physical and chemical properties of polyvinylidene fluoride,with good thermoplasticity,which provided diversitied usages.It has unique crystallization state and dielectric constant and excellent corrosion resistance to chemical agents.PVDF is a kind of stractural material of high strength and toughness with high hardness and good resistance to heat,wear,creep and fatique.Besides,it possessed the most excellent workability among the fluoroplastics,therefore,it can be fabricated by model-pressing,extruding,injecting and blowing to produce pipe,plate,stick,model products and membrane etc.Therefore,PVDF is widely used in processing industry.
