CORROSION RESISTANCE OF PURE IRON SURFACEELECTROCHEMICALLY MODIFIED BY PORPHYRIN

In this paper the electrochemical modification of porphyrin on industrial pure iron was investigated.Using some electrochemical techniques,such as polarization resistance method,polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),the anti-corrosion performance of modified layer in various solutions was discussed.The modification conditions were Studied.The research results show that the modification layer of porphyrin on industrial pure iron surface has good corrosion resistance,especially in hydrochloric acid solution.The anti-corrosion mechanism of modification layer was discussed.
