INFLUENCES OF TRACE INDIUM AND BISMUTH ADDITION ON CORROSION BEHAVIOR OF ZINC IN ALKALINE SOLUTIONS
|
Abstract:
The results of the electrochemical experiments and metallographic observation showed that the corrosion of zinc in the alkaline solutions was obviously inhibited and the crystalline grains of zinc became finer due to the addition of trace indium and bismuth. The inhibition mechanism of indium and bismuth for zinc was discussed.
