ATMOSPHERIC CORROSION OF Zn IN LIAONING
|
Abstract:
A two-year survey of atmospheric corrosion of Zn in Liaoning province of China has been made at 192 test sites, the results of the field exposure have been analyzed in combination with environmental data. Corrosion maps of Liaoning area have been drawn. The models are proposed to describe correlation of corrosion rates and the environment parameters, among which, the time of wetness and SO_2 concentration seem to be the most important factors for determining atmospheric corrosion rates of Zn.
