MICROSTRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF Ni - P COATING BY ELECTROLESS PLATING

Abstract:
The microstructure and properties of electroless plated Ni-P coating are systemically investigated by employing XRD,SEM,electrochemical anodic polarization curve measurement,and wear test.The results show that electroless Ni-P has excellent corrosion and wear resistance.However,heat treatment can improve the wear resistance remarkably but reduce the corrosion resistance of the coating.
