CORROSION OF MATERIALS IN CARBONACEOUS ATMOSPHERES AT HIGH TEMPERATURES

In this paper, the corrosion of materials in carbonaceous atmospheres at high temperatures is reviewed, including metal dusting and internal carburization. The corrosion mechanism and corrosion kinetics are discussed.
