CORROSION- INHIBITION PROPERTY OF OIL CARBOXYLIC - ACID COPPER AND ZINC DIALKYLDITHIOPHOSPHATE
|
Abstract:
The corrosion inhibition performance of oil carboxylic-acid copper and Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate (T 202 ) in 350SN base oil were investigated by the copper-immersion tests combined with infrared spectrum analysis and X-ray photoelectron spectrocopy. The results indicate that both of the copper additive and T 202 showed good corrosion inhibition performance ,but the efficiency of T 202 combined with the oil carboxylic-acid copper became worse. The activity of element sulphur was enhanced due to the interaction between the copper additive and T 202 ,which was the main reason for the corrosion of copper.
