SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF QUATERNARY AMMONIUM TRIBENZAL-IMIDAZOLING AS INHIBITOR IN PICKLING SOLUTIONS

Abstract:
The Quaternary Ammonium tribenzal-imidazoline has been synthesized.The inhibition performance of the Quaternary Ammonium tribenzal-imidazoline in HCl,H 2SO 4 solution were evaluated by weight loss method and polarization curve.The results showed that the quaternary ammonium tribenzal-imidazoline could be used for corrosion inhibitor of carbon steels in HCl,H 2SO 4 solutions.The relationship of concentration of the tribenzal-imidazoline with the efficiency has been studied.The mechanism of inhibition has also been discussed.
