CORROSION INHIBITION EFFECT OF BIEA TO ALUMINUM IN HYDROCHLORIC ACID

N,N,N1 .N'-tetra-(-2 benzimidazolylmethy1)-1,2-ethanediamine (BIEA) is synthesized. Its corrosion inhibition behaviors to aluminum in l.Smol/L HCI solution as well as the synergism with butyl amine and heptyl amine are studied by corrosion weight-loss tests and polarization curve measurement.
