HOT CORROSION BEHAVIORS OF AN ALUMINIDE COATED NICKEL-BASE SUPERALLOY
|
Abstract:
Hot-corrosion behaviors of a nickel-base superalloy and aluminide diffusion coating have been studied under Na2S04 and NaCl containing depesits at 900C . The results demonstrated that both coated and uncoated specimens were not susceptible to the contents of NaCl in salts mixtures due to the : formation of the A1203 scale on their surface.
