VESTIGES OF QUATERNARY GLACIERS IN SOUTHERN JIANGXI PROVINCE

In southern JiangXi Province, China, there have been a lot of vestiges of Quaternary glaciers, including glacial amphitheaters, glacialvalleys, glacial striates and glacial deposits.According to the distributions, sequence and litholbgical characters of the depositas, well as the ancient glacial topography, it is suggested that six glaciations had probably occurred during pleistocene in southern Jiangxi Province.
