A OUTLINE OF THE QUATERNARY DEPOSITS, OF FUJIAN PROVINCE

Abstract:
The Quaternary deposits are of thin and the noncontinuous distribution in Fujian Provlnce. Accorcung to geological, geomorphological, lithofacies, pollen and spore analyses and the isotope age, the Quaternary strata are divided into the Iower Pleistocene Tianbao Group, the middle Pleistocence Tongan Group, the upper Pleistocene Longhai Group, and the Holocene Dongshan and Changle Groups.
