Expound the new characteristics of American geostrategy after the cold war
试论冷战后美国地缘战略新特点

The article analyses the characters of American geostrategy from three aspects. First, after the cold war, the global target of America has changed from policy of containment the Soviet Union to the new strategy targeting at China and Russia. But it includes cooperation besides traditional policy of containment, thus can be summaried as "containment of strategy, involvement in economy." Then the means in implementing American global strategy has also been transformed from politic, military and foreign affairs to economic means. That is to say, geoeconomy will replace geopolitics. Finally, in the times of geoeconomy, the relative limitation of resources is very important economic law. It has close relation with the American global geostategy.
