EOLIAN PROCESS AND DUST MANTLE(LOESS) IN CHINA

Distributional patterns, environmental characteristics and stratigraphical structures of loess in China are discussed. Loess and paleosol occurred alternately during the Quaternary period in northern China. A paleocIimatic curve is proposed and correlated with the paleoclimatic curve of deep sea cores V28-238 tentatively.
