RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN REFERENCE VALUE(WINTROBE) OF ERYTHROCYTE SEDIMENTATION RATE(ESR) AND GEOGRAPHICAL FACTORS IN CHINA

Abstract:
In order to supply a basis for uniting the reference value standard(wintrobe) of Chinese ESR,a research is made on the rdationship between the reference value(wintrobe) of ESR and five geographical factors in China.which are determined by the way of wintrobe laws.It is found that altitude is the main factor affectig the reference value(wintrobe) of ESR.As altitude increases gradually,the reference values(wintrobe) of ESR decrease gradually.Appling the method of mathematical regression analysis,ten formulae of univariate regression equations and two formulae of multivariate regression equations are given.If geographical index values are obtained in some area,the reference value(wintrobe) of ESR of this area can be reckoned using the regression equations.Furthermore,according to the similarity of ESR values,taking the altitude as the main dividing basis and considering effects of other geographical factors and population distribution,China canb divided into six regions:Qinghai-Xizang region,Southwestern China,Northwestern China,Soheastern China,Northern China and Northeastern China.
