2D RESISTIVITY INVERSION OF PERTURBATION IN THE LAYERED-EARTH
|
Abstract:
To solve some geological problems with no sharp resistivity contrast between geological targets and surrounding media, such as prospecting in archaeology, geological engineering and underground water pollution,we propose a method for 2-D resistivity inversion of perturbation in the layered earth.First the electrical structure of background is determined from observed apparent resistivity section. Then the sensitivity matrix is calculated based on the perturbation of resistivity. Finally we use general inverse matrix to solve increment of resistivity. The results for underground rammed walls in the Shangqiu area demonstrate that the method effectively reduces geological noises caused by underground water and clearly shows the position and shape of the underground wall.
