Characteristics of damping coefficient effect on transient electromagnetic signal

By thorough analysis of the equivalent circuit of transient electromagnetism receiver coil, we studied the relations between the receiving system distribution parameter and the damping coefficient, the performance characteristic of different damping coefficient transient electromagnetism receiving system, I. E., the amplitude-frequency characteristic, the cut-off frequency, the impulse response and the step response, discussed the influence characteristic of the receiving system to the underground geologic body transient response signal, and finally gave the real-time computation method of critical damping-resistance.
