Some Key Problems in the Multi-Component Seismic Exploration
|
Abstract:
To explore the complex oil and gas reservoir, multi component seismic technique, based on the theory of seismic anisotropy, has been applied a lot to some extend. However, some problems exist in the sampling, processing and interpretation of multi component seismic data, especially for petroleum exploration in the land. In this paper, some key notes were introduced, such as 3 component receiver, the designation of measuring system, processing modules based on seismic anisotropy, and joint process and interpretation of the seismic data. Moreover, these key problems were detailed out and possible solutions were suggested.
