A study on effects of shallow inhomogeneous body on object resistivity anomaly.

Abstract:
It is well known that the critical distortion to resistivity sounding curves could be produced by shallow inhomogeneous bodies. In order to eliminate this interference, this paper adopts the 3 D finite element numerical simulation method to calculate the pure anomaly caused by an inhomogeneous body at shallow depth and a mixed body (object and the inhomogeneous body) anomaly, and corrects them through other correction methods. Finally we realize the quantitative correction for the inhomogeneous body at shallow depth.
