ANALYSIS OF THE INTERNATIONAL GEOMAGNETIC REFERENCEFIELD ERROR IN THE CHINA CONTINENT
|
Abstract:
IGRF(International Geomagnetic Reference Field) are the models of geomagnetic main field and secular variation. The IGRF errors are from neglecting external field, truncation level of the spherical harmonic series, observatory distribution, measurement, and neglecting the crust geomagnetic anomalies .Analyzing the IGRF error in China continent region is useful for using the IGRF data. If excluding Beijing observatory where there are great disturbances and geomagnetic anomaly , the root-mean-square error of IGRF for 29 main observatories is 146.9nT.
