|
Abstract:
A survey of the vertical distribution of Rodents was made in June to August, 1980 at Laojun Mountain, Yunnan. The topography was divided into four vertical zones, 2, 500-3, 000m., 3, 000-3, 500m., 3, 500-4, 000m., and 4,000-4, 247m., respectively. The results are shown as tab. 1 -2. and tig. 1 -2. 1. Altogether set 9,358 mouse traps in four vertical zones. 1,054 Rodents were obtained. Captured 11 species of mouse (Eothenomys custos rubellus, Eothenomys miletus miletus, Apodemus chevrieri, Apodemus draco orests, Apodemus latronum, Rattus norvegicus socer, Rattus coxing andersoni, Rattus flavipectus, Rattus niviventer confucianus, Rattus nitidus nitidus, and Mus musculus). Total capture rate is 11.26% percent. 2. The component species the number index of each species of Rodents in Laojun Mountain were varied according to the vertical zonal variation with respect to the differences of altitudes, flora and natural environmental conditions.
