THE SOUND SPECTROGRHIC ANALYSES ON THE CALLS OF LADY AMHERST''''S PHEASANT (CHRYSOLOPHUS AMHERSTIAE)
白腹锦鸡鸣声的声谱分析

There is been not a special study on the calls of lady amherst's pheasant in China and oversea. We have recorded calls of male, female and young of this pheasant, during 1986 January to August, December to January of next year, in field ecology research in west mountains of Kunming City, Yunnan. We also observed relative behaviors of every call. Good recordings are selected and made out spectrograms. We analysed crow call, contact call, alarm call, fear call, threat call and brood gather call and then discussed biological meanings of these calls.
