USING A NEW COUNTING METHOD TO STUDY THE COURTSHIP SONG OF DROSOPHILA MELANOGASTER
用新的计量方法研究黑腹果蝇的求爱歌

The courtship pulse song of fruit fly has been studied for many years. But the counting method for interpulse interval of courtship song is still not convenient up to now. In this paper, a new method of counting measurement is introduced. Using the time counting technics of microcomputer terminal, the pulse interval can be counted automatically so that a large number of pulse song can be measured and analysed rapidly. The authors also report their point of view about the difference between mode of ipi and mean of ipi. And a study of the distribution of ipf and npb has been carried out in first time.
