STUDY ON FAUNA OF THE MOTHS IN LUSHAN

Abstract:
This is first paper on the fauna of the moths in Lushan. I started investigate since May 1975, until 1982. Now identified 455 species moths belong to 32 families and 340 genera. 1. The form faunal: Oriental species: 152 species, 127 genera (33.42% of total). Palaearctic species: 79 species, 63 genera (17.36% of total). Oricntal-Palaearctic species: 187 species, 149 genera (41.09% of total). Oriental-Neotropic species : 2 species (0.44% of total). Oriental-Australian species : 9 species (1.9% of total). Palaearctic-Nesarctic species : 2 species (0.44% of total). World'specics : 24 species (5.27% of total). From mentioned analysis can get this view : On fauna Lushan's moths, Oricntalspccics and Oriental-Palaearctic species are maintay 74.5% of total, the emphasis is on the oriental-Palaearctic. Besides Palaearctic species, and Few Oriental Australian, Oriental-Neoarctic, Palaearctic-Nesarctic, World's species arc have. 2. Perpendicular distributed: From the foot of the mountain to elevation of 200-300m, the Oriental species are 9.09%, Oriental-Palaearctic species are 35.72%, Elevation of 500-600m. in the middle of the mountain: Oriental species are 35.91%, Palaearctic species are 12.27%, Oriental-Palaearctic species are 40.45%, World' species are 9.09%. Other species are 2.20%. From 1000m. elevation to the top of the mountain. Oriental species are 31.61%, Palaearctic species are 19.80%, Oriental-Palaearctic species are 41.11%, World' species are 5.31%, Other species are 2.08%. Perpendicular distributed showed: From the foot to the top of the mountain, follow height of elevation gradually add, Oriental species gradually reduce, Palaearctic species gradually add. the perpendicular distributed of the moths is relate to height of elevation.
