A PROTOTYPE OF GEOSCIENCE IRA FOR GIS

The information requirement of CIS is the key for making CIS, which include data con-text, data formation, and information procession models etc. IRA (Information Requirement Analysis) attempts to find the information to describe information formation and models sys-tem. In this paper, we suggest a method of IR A, which is based on the prototyping designed as shown in Fig. 1. In this prototype, functional need is the center of analysis. With a GIS' applied object, we find the function. Then the function produces the information IR. This me-thod has been be applied to micro-computer systems.
