|
Abstract:
Dual regional structure is one of the basic problem that developing society faces. Based on systematic review and summary of theories and development approaches of the dual regional structure, this paper proposed: 1) The dual regional structure has two aspects: traditional and modern. The traditional bases on sectoral-spatial divisions of labor, the modern bases on spatialhierarchical divisions of labor. The national economy get into a period of sustain growth, the traditional is gradually replaced by the modern; 2) Core-periphery interregional growth is not balanced, but this does not mean the increase of the difference between the income per capital in the core and periphery regions. There is no general model for all nations: 3) Regional integration is a comprehensive method for regional development. The ways for regional development in the developing countries should be to establish unified area, specialazition system of production and regional unified market system of product and factor.
