A STUDY ON THE LEACHING OF FLUORIDE IN SOIL
|
Abstract:
Eight natural soils were used to study the leaching of fluoride. The result showed that the leaching degrees of fluoride in various soils were different, and the leaching curves of fluoride in soils were not the same. The average fluoride concentration in leaching liquid of soils was found to have positive correlation with the contents of soluble fluoride in soil and pH, and logarithmic negative correlation to the adsorption coeflients (K.t) of fluoride in soils. Of eight soils tesed, the leaching of fluoride in alkaline soils was stronger than that in acidic soils. The potential effect of fluoride leached from soils on the human being was also discu-ssed.
