RECENT CRUSTAL VERTICAL MOVEMENT IN THE CHANG-JIANG RIVER DELTA AND ITS ADJACENT AREA
长江三角洲及其邻近地区的现代地壳垂直运动

Based on the relevant data of releveling from 50's to 80's in the century, the cru&tal vertical movement in the Changjiang River Delta and its adescent area is analysed and compared with the sea level changes along the coast of this area with respect to the same isostatic datum. The recent vertical movement in the studied area is mainly controlled by the areal structure. The deformation velocity is not so high and varies smoothly fron place to place. The coastal zone in the area is in subsilence.
