The Microstructore Study of the Gezhen Ductile Shear Zone, Hainan
|
Abstract:
The Gezhen shear zone extends in NE-direction , occurring in the Middie Proterozoic Baoban Group. It was formed in the Hercynian-Indsinian, It was discovered by qualitative- quantitative inmicrocopic analysis, Its tectonics show complex zoning in composition beth in strike and dip. Themanner of movement is a reverse one in section but a sinistral shear one in plane, Totle shift isabout one kilometer. Deformations are devided into pure shear style in the Hongpumenling part andflaser style from Baoban to Beiniu and from Gongai to Bumo, Stress strain and lithofacies studieshave obviously showed the deformation of the Gezhen shear zone becomes much stronger from mar-gin to center and from the SW part to the NE part.
