The Hard Clay-Soft Rock Engineering Geological Information Management and Analysis System and Its Application

In the course of large-scale engineering construction in China, plenty of engineering experience and testing data have been gained. Summarizing these test results and automatically managing them with computer technology are of great significance. Based on the test data obtained by the Engineering Geo-mechanical Lab of CAS, the authors have developed a software named "Hard Clay-Soft Rock Engineering Geological Information Management and Analysis System (HRGIMS)", thus realizing the automatic and visual management of geo-engineering information. On the basis of information management, the functions of data analysis and engineering property prediction are strengthened. This paper briefly describes the main functions of the HRGIMS system and their application.
