A Tentative Analysis of the Method for Establishment of the Focal-mechanism Solution Database Release System Based on ArcIMS
用ArcIMS建立震源机制解数据发布系统方法浅析

The WebGIS technology has been applied to the analysis of focal_mechanism solution along with the increasing application of the Internet geographic information system. By combining the attribute database with the spatial database, we can turn the attribute database file into graphic file and statistic data automatically, and can also seek or search for data through Internet or Intranet. The information contained in this paper describes in detail the method for the establishment of the focal_mechanism solution database release system based on ArcIMS3.1. The ArcIMS architecture and the framework of the system are recounted in this paper. During the development process, the authors met with many problems, some of which were quite typical. Therefore, the technical key points are also discussed. It is hoped that these solutions can give some help to those who work in this field.
