Geological Characteristics of Rock-controlling and Ore-controlling Structures in the Jiaodong Gold Ore Concentration Area
|
Abstract:
This paper made a further division of the Jiaodong tectonic system, and pointed out that the main well-developed tectonic systems in Jiaodong are Neocathaysian and Cathaysian tectonic systems rather than the latitudinal tectonic system. On such a basis, the authors analyzed different characteristics of ore belts, deposits, ore veins, geochemical distribution and geophysical-chemical conditions in the Jiaodong gold ore concentration area. It is held that the structures have multi-level ore-controlling characteristics at the ore-forming epoch. The NNE-trending Neocathaysian associated structures control the distribution of regional gold belts, the NNE-trending Neocathaysian regional shear belt control the gold ore field, the faulting conditions of the tectonic belt control the types of gold deposits, the attitude of the tectonic belt controls the pitching and rake regularities of the ore bodies in ore deposits, the moving property of the shear belt and the combination forms of faults control the distribution of ore veins, the tectono-deformed belts control the geochemical characteristics, and structures control the physical-chemical conditions for mineralization.
