In-Situ Stress Measurement and Its Application to Rock Burst Analysis in Xinbaiyanzhai Tunnel of the Xiangyu Railway
|
Abstract:
Using the hydraulic pressure fracturing method, the authors measured the in-situ stresses of Xinbaiyanzhai tunnel whose greatest burial depth is nearly 500 m along the second line of the Xianyu Railway. The results show that the horizontal stress is predominant. The direction of the maximum primary stress is NNW, in good agreement with the result of regional analysis. According to the stress state, the probability of rock burst is discussed.
